Murchison Drilling Schools, Inc. (MDS) has recently remodeled and expanded their training facility. MDS has added an additional class room, and several offices and training rooms. The additional class room will be used for the new IADC Supervisory level WellCAP course, which will begin at the end of March. In addition to the expansion of its facilities, MDS has purchased a fourth new simulator. MDS now uses three Ultralight Simulators, built by CS Inc, which feature the most advanced simulator technology available. The simulators are not only used for well control, but also for other drilling practices like leak-off tests, drilling hydraulics, and lubrication. |
